Terms of Use & Disclaimer
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of FinalPay Calculator at finalpaycalculator.com (the "site"), operated by [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
2. Estimates only — not advice
The calculators provide general information and estimates only. They do not take into account your full circumstances and are not legal, tax, financial or employment advice. No lawyer–client, adviser–client or other professional relationship is created by using the site.
Your actual entitlements can differ from our estimate because of things the calculator can't fully capture, including:
- awards, enterprise or collective agreements, union agreements, employment contracts, company policies and severance plans;
- state, provincial and territory laws, and how courts and tribunals interpret them (for example, common‑law reasonable notice in Canada);
- how your employer calculates your rate of pay, allowances, overtime, commission or bonuses;
- your personal tax position, other income, tax codes, tax offsets and the withholding method your employer uses;
- changes to laws, thresholds and tax rates after the "last reviewed" date shown on the site.
Before you make a decision, such as accepting a redundancy package, signing a release or severance agreement, or resigning, get advice from an appropriate source. These include the Fair Work Ombudsman (Australia), Acas (UK), your state labor department or an employment attorney (USA), your provincial employment standards office or an employment lawyer (Canada), your provincial labour department (Pakistan), a union, or a registered tax agent or accountant.
3. Accuracy and availability
We try to keep the rates, thresholds and rules up to date and accurate, but we don't warrant that the site, its calculations or its content are complete, current, accurate or error‑free. The site is provided "as is" and "as available", and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the site only for lawful, personal and informational purposes.
- Don't try to interfere with, overload, scrape at scale or reverse‑engineer the site, or bypass any security or ad‑delivery features.
- Don't present our results to anyone as professional advice or as a guaranteed entitlement.
5. Advertising and third‑party links
The site shows advertising, including from Google AdSense, and links to third‑party websites such as government agencies. We don't control, endorse or take responsibility for third‑party ads, products, services or websites. Your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and graphics belong to us or our licensors. You may use the calculator and print or save your own results for personal use. You may link to any page of the site. Please don't copy or republish substantial parts of the site, or embed the calculator elsewhere, without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential (including loss of income, entitlements, profits or opportunity), arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes the Australian Consumer Law and consumer protection laws in the UK, USA, Canada and elsewhere. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you live elsewhere, you may also have rights under the consumer laws of your own country, and nothing here takes those away.
